Aguilas lead the series
The Aguilas beat Licey last night to lead the series 3-1. Red Sox pitcher Julian Tavarez (botton picture) took the win. Aguilas pitcher -and part-time bachata singer- Jose Lima (top picture) has been a Tiger killer this season. He won the first game of the series.

Los Tigres, who were parked in third place most of the season, will play the Aguilas Cibaeñas for the championship. Licey denied an all-Cibao final by beating the Gigantes last night. This is a big, bragging-rights battle. If the Aguilas win they will tie the Tigres with 19 Dominican League championships.
